Transfer Policies

Articulation Agreement

Orlando Christian University (OCU) maintains an articulation agreement with The
First Academy for the evaluation and transfer of select coursework completed prior
to a student’s enrollment at OCU. This provision primarily applies to students who
enroll at OCU after completing one or more years of secondary education at The First Academy.

Transfer credit is awarded based on a comprehensive review of course content,
academic rigor, learning outcomes, and instructor qualifications to ensure alignment
with OCU academic standards.

Beginning with the 2023–2024 academic year, courses offered through OCU’s
Concurrent Enrollment Program at The First Academy are approved by OCU,
delivered under OCU academic oversight, and recorded as OCU credit on the official
transcript. These courses are not considered transfer credit.

Coursework completed prior to Fall 2023 may be evaluated for transfer credit in
accordance with the articulation agreement in effect at the time of completion.
